At the National Finals Steer Roping this past weekend, it all came down to the last steer for Trevor Brazile. And, he showed Mulvane, Kansas, why he’s known as King of the Cowboys. in true Trevor fashion, he delivered under the pressure.
In round 10, Brazile got it done in 12.4 seconds — enough to overtake leader Scott Snedecor, winning the average and the title. In total, he went home with more than $69,000.
With this weekend’s win, Trevor earned his eighth steer roping world title and 26th gold buckle. He also surpassed the $7 million mark in total career earnings — putting him nearly $3.5 million ahead of the next highest earner, Cody Ohl.
