The PRCA has announced Tom Glause will be its full-time Chief Executive Officer after assuming the role on an interim basis following the resignation of George Taylor on Aug. 10.
Glause has been with the PRCA since May of 2019, serving as the Chief Operating Officer and the Director of Rodeo Administration for the majority of his tenure. Prior to joining the PRCA, he was Wyoming’s State Insurance Coordinator for 30 years under Governors Matthew Mead and Mark Gordon.
“The PRCA has been a part of my life for the past thirty-five years, and I’m very honored that the PRCA Board of Directors asked me to assume this role.” Glause said in a news release. “I am also really excited to lead this iconic organization for the benefit of our entire membership.”
Glause is a former PRCA contestant and graduated from the University of Wyoming, where he was a saddle bronc rider. Glause has also served as President of the Mountain States Circuit for six years and served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Cheyenne (WYO) Frontier Days.r.
“Tom’s wealth of experience within the PRCA and his longtime business expertise brings a unique set of skills to the PRCA leadership,” Jacobs Crawley, the Chairman of the PRCA Board of Directors, said. “We are confident that the PRCA’s future under his leadership will be in good hands moving forward.”
