Tom Crouse and Beau Cooper Splitting Round 1 Lead at Rodeo Austin

The first of three go-rounds currently belongs to Tom Crouse and Beau Cooper after a pair of 9.5-seconds runs.

One of them was the first tie-down roper out and the other was the last but they each stopped the clock at 9.5 seconds. Tom Crouse and Beau Cooper have set themselves up for success in Austin.

For Cooper, although his calf did not make it easy, it is all about moving forward and hoping for best.

As for Crouse, he too did not have a calf that was at the top of their list. Crouse slowed it down and hoped it didn’t kick.

It worked out for them both in Round 1 but hot on their heels is Chance Oftedahl.
