Timed Event Athlete of the Week: Tristan Martin Sweeps Farm-City Pro Rodeo

Tristan Martin has been on a roll all season long, reflected by his No. 7 spot in the PRCA World Standings. Martin continued to show that he is a real contender for a World Title over the weekend.

He opened his weekend with a 3.6-second run at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo which edged out Will Lummus and Dirk Tavenner by one tenth to win the round. The round win earned Martin over $2,800, but his work wasn’t done in Hermiston. In the second round, Martin posted the fastest time of the rodeo at 3.4 seconds to win the round and the Average.

Martin took the average with 7.0 seconds on two head, more than a half second better than Sterling Lambert, Dirk Tavenner, and Tucker Allen who all placed second.

In total, Martin won $9,999 at the rodeo and cemented his spot inside the Top 10 in the world.
