Cody Devers has had success come his way in the last month and even more so in the past week at the San Angelo Rodeo. He is currently tied to lead both the Second Round and the Average, making him your Timed Event Athlete of the Week.
It was with a solid 3.5 that currently has Devers splitting first in the Second Round after he was a 4.7 in the Round 1. This makes him an 8.2 on two head and puts him at the top of the leaderboard in the Average where only six steer wrestlers have a time on two.
Although there are still six performances and two rounds of slack for Devers to wait out, it is looking like he will advance to the Finals of San Angelo Rodeo with a chance at big money and the title.
He currently sits No. 9 in the PRCA World Standings with $30,375 to his name, but if all goes well in San Angelo, he will close out the Texas Swing with even more.
