For the first time in his young career, Riley Webb is No. 1 in the PRCA Tie-Down World Standings, making him our Timed Event Athlete of the Week.
Webb had a fantastic showing at the National Western in Denver, getting better with each run which helped him to a big win. He opened his pool with 8.8 and 8.3-second runs to advance to the Semis where he would go 8.0 seconds. That run would move him on to the finals where he went 7.2 seconds to cap his big weekend.
Webb won close to $7,000 while in Denver, giving him the No. 1 spot in the world which he currently holds by just over $1,800.
Webb’s season earnings are now $18,977 as he heads into the all-important Texas Swing.
