Riley Webb is living life on the bubble in his first full season in the PRCA. At the start of August he was on the outside looking in, but thanks to a big week of roping, he now sits in 15th place in the PRCA Tie-Down Roping World Standings.
Webb’s big weekend included round wins in Canby, Caldwell and the Fallon County Rodeo in Baker, Montana.
In Caldwell, he tied one in 7.5 seconds to earn a round win. That run would earn him just under $4,000 and get him that much closer to the Top 15.
Webb followed that up with another win in Canby where he took the second round after a 7.3-second run and made $2,500.
His biggest check of the weekend came at the Fallon County Fair and Rodeo where he would get the win outright thanks to another 7.5-second run. That win earned him around $5,000 and officially pushed him into the Top 15.
Webb will be one to watch throughout the remainder of the season as he is in search of his first career NFR appearance. Currently, he holds a $2,000 lead over Taylor Santos in 16th place.
