Shad Mayfield showcased his talents over the weekend at the Pioneers Day Rodeo in his hometown of Clovis, New Mexico, and the Guymon Pioneer Days, securing the World Champion the Timed Event Athlete of the Week Title.

At the Pioneers Day Rodeo in Clovis, New Mexico, Mayfield’s performance was nothing short of a success. Mayfield clocked in at 8.2 seconds, securing a well-deserved spot at the top of the leaderboard and earning $1,874.

However, Mayfield’s dominance didn’t stop there. He carried his momentum to the Guymon Pioneer Days, where he delivered a series of successful performances.

In Round 1, Mayfield set the bar high with an impressive time of 7.1 seconds, earning him $4,252 and securing the top spot.

In the second round, Mayfield continued to dazzle the crowd, posting a time of 7.3 seconds, which was only narrowly beaten by Cory Solomon’s 7.1-second run.

As the competition heated up, Mayfield maintained his consistency and delivered yet another commendable performance in the third round, clocking in at 7.3 seconds. Mayfield secured a tie for first place in the average with Marcos Costa, each turning in a total time of 23.9 seconds on three head.

Mayfield picked up a check for a total of $13,911 in Guymon and is holding steady at No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings.
