Jacob Talley is The Cowboy Channel’s Timed Event Athlete of the Week as he secured his spot as the No. 1 steer wrestler moving on to the Semifinals for Super Series I at RodeoHouston
Talley wasted no time in Round 1 as he turned in a run of 5.5 seconds to move to the top of the leader board earning his first check of the Super Series. He then went on to place second in Round 2 with a 6.1 and fifth in the final round to remain in the money earning a total of $5,500.
Talley will return to compete in the Semifinals along side those also advancing from Super Series I including Stetson Jorgensen, Tyler Waguespack and Rowdy Parrott.
The four-time NFR qualifiers is currently sitting inside the Top 5 for the PRCA World Standings with just over $33,100 in earnings.
