Tim Bridwell of Bridwell Pro Rodeos joined WSR Tuesday night to discuss a weekend where all of his stock had plenty of success.
In the bareback riding, five cowboys earned checks for rides on Bridwell’s horses.
The first horse Bridwell discussed was one that two cowboys placed on in the same weekend. Shane O’Connell tied for eighth riding Ted for 83.5 points and Cole Reiner was 85 points on Ted’s second trip of the weekend.
“He’s a really, really nice horse that they seem to do a lot of good on,” he said.
Logan Patterson was able to earn close to $1,000 on a Bridwell horse by going for 84.5 points aboard Girl Crush.
“The higher end bareback riders do really like her, she is a challenge for them, but you can also be a lot of points and win on her,” Bridwell said. “Just a real blessing to have her in our herd.”
To round out the Bridwell buckers, Seth Hardwick was second in the rodeo with 87.5 points on Meat Sweats.
“Meat Sweats, we started in the bronc riding and he was sort of an eliminator in the bronc riding, the guys didn’t really love him and he didn’t buck free enough,” he said. “So, when we switched back to the bareback riding, you can see his turned into a winner there.”
