Tilden Hooper joins Western Sports Roundup after winning RFD-TV’s The American

Fresh off his win in the bareback riding at The American Rodeo Sunday afternoon, Tilden Hooper joined Janie Johnson on Western Sports Roundup Tuesday evening.

Hooper discussed what it felt like when he realized he was the champion, the pressure at The American, his strategy in the four-man Shootout Round, how tight the bareback riders and what it meant to share the winning moment with his family.

Hooper rode Gun Fire for 90.50 points in the Shootout and Ain’t No Angel for 86.25 in Sunday’s Short Round.
