The athletes competing in the Resistol Rookie Roundup were up against remarkable bull power as the event came to a close with 27 outs and only three qualified rides.
Due to the lack of a qualified ride in the Final Round, Tieler Cummings took home the title after scoring 83 points on New Star Pro Rodeo’s Armed and Dangerous in the Semifinals.
“That’s a really good bull and I just kind of stubbed my toe and he got the best of me tonight,” Cummings said.
Cummings’ 83-points was the highest marked ride of the Resistol Rookie Roundup and added over $2,600 to his earnings.
