Tie-Down Roper Ty Harris Bounces Back in Round 2 of Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

Ty Harris cinches the Semi-Finals with Round 2 performance.

Ty Harris is the No. 2 tie-down roper to advance to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Semi-Finals thanks to a wicked 8.7-second run in Round 2.

“I think I’m riding the fastest horse here and I had the slowest calf so I’d feel like an idiot if I broke out so when I got back there, I’m like just be patient,” Harris said.

The patience paid off for Harris and he picked up th e Go-Round win. He capitalized in his bracket and up next is the Semi-Finals. Along with Harris, Garrett Jacobs is moving on from Bracket 6.
