Tie-Down Roper Riley Webb Makes 6.2-Second Run at Jackpot in Texarkana

Riley Webb added another feat to his already decorated roping resume. He stopped the clock at 6.2 seconds in to win the Short Round of a tie-down jackpot in Texarkana.

Webb, 17, has already won a National High School Finals Championship and the WCRA’s Stampede at the E. He also competed at RFD-TV’s The American in 2020.

Webb’s time was the fastest of the three-round event.

There’s $12,500 available per event in at the Chute Out, and more than half goes to the winner
