Luke Potter is the No. 2 calf roper moving on to the Semifinals from Bracket 6 after an 8.8-second run got him the Round 2 win at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
“That calf was phenomenal. Ty Harris made a great run on her yesterday and I just kind of wanted to stay out of my own way and just get the job done,” Potter said.
With the motivation flowing and plenty of roping done in the off season, Potter is gunning for a spot inside the Top 15. A win from the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo would give Potter and early start.
Harris is moving on to the Semifinals as well, while Tuf Cooper is the Wildcard Round qualifier from this bracket.
