Three horses named team roping horses of the year

Brother Brady and Riley Minor may not be headed to the National Finals Rodeo this year, but they had the consolation of each of their horses being honored as a Horse of the Year.

On the head side, Riley’s 19-year-old horse Bob won the award. It is the second time Bob has been the heading Horse of the Year.

As for heelers, Brady’s horse Sug shared the award with Drago, who is owned by Logan Medlin. It is the third different horse this decade owned by Brady Minor to win the award and he is the first cowboy to accomplish that feat.
