The Reno Rodeo Foundation was created in 1986 and has since distributed over 8.3 million dollar throughout the Northern Nevada community.
“We’re about children, partners, and the community,” Reno Rodeo Foundation Executive Director Clara Andriola said.
These donations help to benefit the youth in ways such as scholarships and making connections throughout the community.
In 2003, the Reno Rodeo Wish was created to enhance the quality of life and add additional support for children in the pediatric department of the local hospitals.
The Reno Rodeo Wish has greatly impacted many children and their families as they have distributed over $500,000 to assist in treatments, medication and other medical costs.
“Every volunteer here knows how much of an impact we are really making and a difference and have done so for over 30 years and will continue to do for the next 30 or 100 or however long this certainly lasts,” Andriola said.
