Team USA Showed Up At The Golden Buckle Barrel Race

The Golden Buckle Barrel Race was the first ever event of its kind. It was Team USA versus Team Europe went head-to-head in the largest barrel race in European history. It was held in Italy and the Horses Riviera Resort and was part of the Horse Management Lab project, who’s goal is to promote growth and expansion of equine sports across the globe.

Team USA’s Ashley Schaffer ran the fastest time with a 16.132 second run on Wonders Fame Belle. She was followed by two European barrel racers, Adamo Giovanni with a 16.145 and Parisella Angelo with a 16.208 second run.

JAMES BARNES RUNNING A 16.449 ON MB FAME OF DIVA

The rest of Team USA represented very well. James Barnes came in fourth with a 16.449 on MB Fame Of Diva and Pete Oen followed close behind with a 16.456 on Famous Very Easy. Christ Martin and SFW SunFrost Fooler were a 16.781 and fan favorite Ivy Conrado-Saebens ran a 17.095 on Runawayfling. Danny Cipri and Firewater Cash were a 17.102 and Makayla Coffelt ran a 17.582 on Chex Ready Ta Fame. The final Team USA member was Jeena Smeenk and she unfortunately hit two barrels.
