Team ropers Brenton Hall and Chase Tryan made a business man’s decision during performance four of the Dodge City Roundup. All they needed was a clean run to make it back to the Short Round and that is just what the two did.
“Luckily we got a good steer this morning and we caught him, we were decently fast, placed in the first round. And then tonight, I didn’t like that steer at all but I knew he was going to be a little low headed and he was going to try pretty hard and I had to take one more [swing] than I wanted to. But I knew that if we just caught we would have a chance at money. And we need money, tour, we need everything right now,” Hall said.
Both Hall and Tryan sit just outside the top 30 in the World Standings and a win at the Dodge City Roundup could give them momentum for the rest of the season.
