Team Roping Header Brady Tryan Wins Canadian Title After Dominating in Red Deer

Team ropers Brady Tryan and Calgary Smith left no doubt after six Go-Rounds that they were the best pair in Canada.

Finishing second in Rounds 1 and 2 and winning Rounds 3-6, Tryan/Smith ended the Canadian Finals Rodeo with a time of 24.3 on six head.

“This is amazing, I can’t even put it into words. It’s been an incredible week,” Tryan said.

Tryan and Smith were the only team to have no mistakes and six clean runs. In Red Deer, the duo added over $62,000, the most of any cowboy in any event at the CFR, to their Canadian season earnings to win the CPRA title by more than $35,000 apiece.
