JAMES PHIFER

The Minor brothers are veterans of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. With a total of 23 qualifications between the two of them, the Thomas & Mack is like a second home to Riley and Brady.

After Riley Minor recovered from an injury sustained in the 2021 season, the duo came back in 2022 and were a force to be reckoned with. Both Riley (No. 12) and Brady (No. 13) sit just outside the Top 10 in the world and with big money up for grabs in Las Vegas that could send them to the top.

BIGGEST PAYDAY

RodeoHouston, $7,500

In Super Series 5 of Houston, Riley and Brady tied to win the second round with a 5.1-second run before they bested that time in the third round with a 4.9. In Semifinal 1 they captured another win with another 4.9-second run.

Reno Rodeo, $7,061

At the rodeo that is known to kick off the summer run, the Minors won the Final Round by four tenths of second when they stopped the clock at 6.6 seconds. That helped them place fourth in the Average and they pulled out of town with over $7,000.

FASTEST TIMES

Central Wyoming Fair & PRCA Rodeo, 4.3 Seconds

In the first round of this Wyoming rodeo, the Minor brothers threw what would be their fastest time of the regular season. Shutting the clock off at 4.3 seconds, it was a run worth almost $3,500 and they would leave Casper with enough money to continue their climb into the Top 15.

Snake River Stampede, 4.3 Seconds

The following week in Idaho, Riley and Brady would do it again. Stopping the clock at 4.3 seconds once again, they tied for a sixth-place check before going on to place in the Average.

NOTABLE WINS

Yuma Silver Spur Rodeo, 4.6 Seconds

Early on in the season, the Minor brothers picked up a win in Arizona. By seven tenths of a second they won the rodeo and cashed in almost $2,500 to pick up a little momentum in the middle of their winter run.

Cheyenne Frontier Days, 7.1 Seconds in the Qualifier

In the qualifier round for the Daddy of ‘Em All, Riley and Brady got the round win by seven tenths of a second eaarning the duo over $3,500. This run also secured their spot in a performance at one of the biggest summer rodeos.
