Team Ropers Luke Brown and Travis Graves head back to Las Vegas.

With 30 National Finals Rodeo qualifications between Luke Brown and Travis Graves, the team ropers will make their first appearance in the Thomas and Mack as a team come December.

“As a kid, growing up, it was just a dream... And when I made it the first year, I’ve said this a thousand times, but one was enough. I mean, it was like a dream come true, life was finished, I was excited, but to say I’ve made it 15 times and made a living out of it, it’s still unbelievable to me, hoenstly,” Brown said.

It will be each cowboys’ 15th trip to the NFR but their first time as a duo.

“We both live in Stephenville, Texas and we’ve been good friends forever. Actually, my first year was ’08 and his first year was ’08 so, you know, we just have a lot of history. We’ve both got families and kind of got the same goals and it just worked out where we could try it this year,” Graves said.

As Brown and Graves get ready for Las Vegas, they have started their preparations with practice steers and come November 1, practice is on.

Brown enters the Finals has the No. 10 header in the World while Graves is the No. 13 heeler.
