Team ropers Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira partner up again

After splitting up in May of 2020, team ropers Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira are partnering up again and will kick off their season together in Guymon this coming weekend.

The pair qualified for four consecutive Wrangler NFRs as teammates between 2016 and 2019 and both cowboys have finished in the Top 3 every single year they have roped together. Nogueira finishing second on the heel side all four years and was crowned the All-Around World Champion in 2016.

In 2020, Driggers roped with 15-time NFR qualifier Cory Petska. They failed to qualify for the NFR.

Nogueira, on the other hand, teamed up with Cody Snow last year. Nogueira finished fourth in the world.

“I’m happy to be back with Kaleb and we are working hard to get everything back together,” Nogueira said. “We know the competition is so tough. Everybody ropes great, and I know if I do my job and focus on what I’m doing, we will be ok. Cody (Snow) and Wesley (Thorp) wanted to get back together, so everything worked out pretty good for everybody.”
