Team Ropers Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin Enter Second NFR Together Hungry for Gold Buckles

Team ropers Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin have now qualified for their second National Finals Rodeo as a team. Overall, this will be Proctor’s seventh NFR trip and Medlin’s third.

With 2021 being their first year to take on the rodeo road together, they finished their first NFR both ranked No. 8 in the PRCA World Standings.

This year, the duo comes in within the Top 5. Proctor sits No. 4 while Medlin is No. 5.

Proctor and Medlin have proved all season long that they are a force to be reckoned with in the arena staying sharp and consistent all across the country.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, $15,000

The duo dominated in San Antonio. With two round wins and a Semifinal win, they went into the Finals as one of the top teams. They finished the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo with a third place finish in the Final Round.

Cinch Playoffs, $13,000

After bettering their time with each run, Proctor and Medlin walked away from Puyallup with an extra $13,000 in their pockets. It was a 6.0-second run in the Finals that got the team the win.

FASTEST RUNS

Snake River Stampede, 3.5 seconds

In Round 2 of the Snake River Stampede, Proctor and Medlin threw down a time of 3.5 seconds to tie for the fastest run of the rodeo with Nelson Wyatt and Tyler Worley. This run would end up being worth over $3,500.

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, 3.8 seconds

At one of the first big rodeos of the year, it came down to the Wild Card Round for Proctor and Medlin. Luckily the team captured the victory with a 3.8-second run to move on to the Finals.

NOTABLE WINS

Cody Stampede, 4.3 Seconds

Proctor and Medlin kicked off their Fourth of July run with a big win in Cody, Wyoming. With a 4.3 second run they pulled over $5,000 to keep their momentum rolling into the summer.

Fallon County Fair & Rodeo, 4.3 Seconds

In the middle of August, it was a Baker, Montana rodeo that another 4.3 second run cinched another win for the duo. This one brought in another check that helped them keep climbing the World Standings.
