DAN HUBBELL

Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp are returning to Las Vegas to rope as a team for their fourth time together at the National Finals Rodeo. Snow enters as the No. 10 ranked header while Thorp is the No. 12 heeler in the PRCA World Standings.

Snow and Thorp are no strangers to success inside the Thomas and Mack. In 2019, they cinched the NFR Average title and Thorp won the World Title. Both gunning for another round of Gold Buckles, you can count on this team to make moves in Las Vegas.

Take a look back at their regular season highlights.

BIGGEST PAYDAY

Washington State Fair Pro Rodeo, $11,000

Snow and Thorp’s biggest pay day came at just the right time. As they fought on the bubble, they roped a 4.2 in Round 1 of the Cinch Playoffs. From there, it was a fourth-place finish in Round 2 and placing third in the Semifinals and Finals that earned the team $11,000 and sent them well into the Top 15.

FASTEST TIMES

San Angelo Rodeo, 3.7 seconds

Earlier in the season, they roped their fastest run of the regular season in San Angelo. In the First Round, Snow and Thorp stopped the clock at 3.7 seconds to finish second in the round and add over $4,500 to their names.

PPCLA PRCA Rodeo, 3.9 seconds

Shortly after their 3.7, Snow and Thorp came close to doing it again. Their second fastest time of the regular season came in Mineral Wells, Texas with a 3.9 second run that also earned them the event win and continued to add to their earnings.

NOTABLE WINS

Snake River Stampede, 4.1 seconds

In July, it was a 4.1 in Idaho that got the duo a round win. At the Snake River Stampede, Snow and Thorp walked away with over $5,000 in total after also placing in the average.
