Tanner Tomlinson and Travis Graves Claim Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Title By Narrow Margins

Team ropers Tanner Tomlinson and Travis Graves picked up a win in the Texas Swing.

A 4.4-second run is what started it all for Tanner Tomlinson and Travis Graves at Dickies Arena. Their 4.9 in Round 2 added to it landed them in the Semi-Finals where they clocked a 5.7 to move on. On Championship Saturday, the duo shut the clock of with another 4.9 to win it all.

“Yes, I’m super excited. [Tanner] ropes outstandings, he’s a great guy. I’m looking forward to this year and he did an amazing job tonight,” Graves said.

The duo cinched the win by just one tenth of a second with Cody Carter and Blake Bentley hot on their heels.

“I just want to give all glory to God. My good horse, Marshall, coliced last August and almost passed away and I want to thank Josh Harvey at Outlaw Equine. He looks better than every, that’s my first rodeo back on him. I’m just super blessed. It’s been fun lately,” Tomlinson said.

Rounding out the Top 4 that found the pay window after the Finals in Fort Worth is Dawson adn Dillon Graham and Cyle Dennison and Lane Mitchell.
