Michelle Darling has been named Female Athlete of the Week after winning her second Dodge City Roundup Championship Title.
Darling and her equine partner Martini placed second in both rounds including a run of 17.37 in the Short-Go to move into the top spot with an aggregate time of 34.59 on two-head.
“She (Martini) gives 110% every time, I love that mare, without her I wouldn’t be where I’m at today,” Darling said.

This is Darling’s second time to take home the Titletitlein Dodge City after winning it back in 2019 and was surprised to see her family there to show their support and make this win a special moment in her career.
The Dodge City Roundup is Darling’s second big win of the season, she was also the Reno Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion just earlier this summer and is now sitting at No. 12 in the WPRA World Standings.
