The Breakaway Roping has grown exponentially since its debut in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2019 and it is heading back to Las Vegas once again for their National Finals in November.
The top 15 ladies will be competing for $250,000 at the South Point Arena. Ten rounds of competition will take place November 29-30 during the PRCA convention.
“The WPRA is looking forward to the National Finals in Women’s Breakaway Roping being held at the South Point Hotel and Casino during the PRCA Convention… So many committees are having breakaway roping at their rodeos and now they, along with fans, will have the opportunity to see the best women breakaway ropers in the world compete at the South Point,” said Jimmie Munroe, WPRA President.
With 300 of 500+ sanctioned PRCA rodeos adding breakaway to their list of events, it won’t be long until it is at every major rodeo.
