The second annual Northern Most Xtreme Bulls is set to take place next Friday and Saturday at the Alaska State Fair Grounds. Event organizer Frank Koloski joined Western Sports Roundup to talk about the event and what you can expect.
A unique aspect of the event is the bounty bull, if you have a qualified ride on the bull you will win $20,000 of gold straight from Alaska.
Last year, Roscoe Jarboe took home the title after going 90 points and taking home more than $5,000. This year the total prize pool has increased by nearly $10,000.
Jarboe is on his way back, but he will have plenty of competition in this season’s event.
