Ky Hamilton Rides For 85.5 Points in San Angelo Despite Lacerated Kidney

Ky Hamilton was supposed to take six weeks to heal from a lacerated kidney he suffered at the PBR Global Cup in early March, but after two weeks, he says he was already back in the gym and riding horses.

Hamilton’s quick recovery paid dividends in San Angelo, where he was 85.5 points on Tuesday night to move to third in the Long Round.

“It felt good, so I figured I’d just enter up and I feel good,” he said.

Laramie Mosley is currently first in the Long Round with 90 points and Stetson Wright is second with 88.
