Clayton Savage Leads Bull Riding in Austin

Clayton Savage has ridden close to 50 percent of his bulls in the 2022 season and if he holds on to win in the Long Round in Austin, it will be his biggest check of the season.

Savage rode Slim Jim for 86 points on Tuesday night to overtake first. At Rodeo Austin, the Long Round is a one-header to qualify for the Semifinals.

“He just kinda spun there into my hand,” Savage said. “Felt good the whole time.”

There have been just nine qualified rides through five performances so far.

Action continues through the Championship Round on March 26 and you can watch every performance on The Cowboy Channel or The Cowboy Channel+.
