WATCH: Kaycee Feild Cheers on Tilden Hooper at The American

The Shootout Round came down at the 2022 American Rodeo came down to reigning World Champion Kaycee Feild and reigning American Champion Tilden Hooper.

Just like they did last year in AT&T Stadium, the good pals and traveling partners duked it out in AT&T Stadium and each made great rides in the Shootout. After Feild’s 90.5 point ride on Calgary’s Agent Lynx, he passionately cheered on his friend, who beat by him by a half point with 91 on Frontier Rodeo’s Gun Fire to claim the $100,000 check for first place.

This moment certainly proved how close cowboys, and bareback riders in particular, can be.
