Scottie Knapp Uses Re-Ride to Win Long Round at San Antonio Xtreme Bulls

Scottie Knapp had to get on two bulls in less than 10 minutes, but his decision paid off as he was 88.5 points on Cervi Championship’s To Light The Torch to win the Long Round at the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls.

Knapp was the last rider of the 39 man field and edged Stetson Wright by a half point.

“I’m not exactly sure what happened on the first one, but thankfully got a second opportunity, bull was really up and down, really made me work for it,” Knapp said.

Knapp won $3,300 for the event, which was the third most of any competitor. Event champion Josh Frost banked $10,800 and Jordan Hansen, the only other cowboy to make the whistle in the Short Round, earned a total of $6,000.
