Following the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Clayton Biglow leads the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings while the likes of Chad Rutherford, Cole Franks and Kaycee Feild are all within $6,000 of the No. 1 spot.

Biglow’s tie for second in Fort Worth is a big reason why he is atop the standings right now, but it is far from the only reason. The California cowboy also won more than $7,000 for his first place finish at the California Circuit Finals, which concluded on Jan. 1. Before that, he won three November rodeos.

Biglow is a perfect 14-for-14 in the 2022 season and already has nine rides of 85+ points and five Go-Round wins.

The man Biglow split second with Fort Worth was Chad Rutherford, who is about $4,500 behind him in second in the standings. In addition to his $16,000+ in Dickies Arena, Rutherford also shared the Average crown with Cole Franks, who is third in the World Standings, at the Texas Circuit Finals. Franks finished third in Fort Worth and won more than $8,000 at the rodeo.

Rounding out the Top 4 is the reigning World Champion and Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo champion Kaycee Feild. The six-time World Champ rode Ols Tubs Stevie Nicks for 93 points to win $20,000 in the Finals. He won $26,630 in total at the rodeo, which accounts for of his money in the 2022 season. Feild was at least 85 points on all four of his horses in Fort Worth.

After the Top 4, Garrett Shadbolt is No. 5 after winning Rodeo Rapid City on Feb. 5. Shadbolt also won more than $5,000 at the National Western thanks to his fourth place finish. Shadbolt is the only cowboy currently in the Top 10 who has not made multiple NFRs. He competed on rodeo’s biggest stage for the first time in 2021.
