In last night’s bareback riding, five cowboys were at least 87 points and seven of the eight were 86 or better. Two men emerged victorious in Semifinal A in Fort Worth, six-time World Champion Kaycee Feild and three-time NFR qualifier Mason Clements.

Both cowboys were 89.5 points with Feild doing so on Soul Lunatic and Clements gettin it done on Yum Bugs.

“I’m just really happy to be here,” Clements said. “This place is unbelievable.”

Feild had some kind words for his fellow bareback rider as well.

“It’s fun to watch him do really good. But it’s a lot more fun going out there and beating him, tying him is not that cool,” Feild said with a laugh.

As for his own ride?

“I’ve been eyeing that one for a long time,” he said. “When my name was lined up with her, I was pretty dang excited. I knew I just had to come here and do my job and style it up a little.”

Also advancing was Wild Card winner Clayton Biglow with 87.5 points and either Cole Reiner or Jess Pope who were both 87.
