Stockton Graves stopped the clock at 3.6 seconds in Bracket 4, Round 1, giving him the fastest steer wrestling run of this year’s rodeo and one of the fastest ever in Dickies Arena.
Graves, a 2021 NFR qualifier, downplayed the fact that it may have been an arena record immediately following the run.
“It won’t be for long if it is, just good to get one down, great steer,” he said.
Six of the eight bulldoggers in Bracket 4 have NFR experience and they will all be back in action again on Friday afternoon.
