Hailey Kinsel Wins Bracket 2, Round 1 in Fort Worth

In their first run since the NFR, Hailey Kinsel and Sister found themselves in a familiar position - first place in the Go-Round.

The pair put together a 16.67 second run in the first round of Bracket 2 to win Kinsel $1,760 and put her in good position to advance to the semifinals. In Fort Worth, the Top 2 in money earned are guaranteed a spot in the semis while third place goes to a Wild Card round to try to qualify. Kinsel earned $1,760 for last night’s finish.

“I just want to my horse and enjoy the opportunity,” she said. “We just came into have fun, we love Fort Worth and I just want to be able to enjoy every minute here.”

Jimmie Smith was second in the Go-Round with a time of 16.72 seconds, Kylee Scribner was third and Lois Ferguson was fourth.
