Cash Wilson is leading the Resistol Rookie of the Year Standings in the saddle bronc riding and he is currently in Denver. He took part in the Cowboy Down Hill yesterday and is making the most of every second of his rookie year.
Wilson had good luck in High School Rodeo and attributes part of his confidence to doing well there and he carried that confidence into his professional career.
Wilson won the Brawley Cattle Call Rodeo on Flying U Rodeo’s Wicked Game back in November.
“That was awesome I had just bought my card and I was just ready to go… it was cool, it was good confidence and hopefully it keeps rolling on through the year,” Wilson said.
In Columbus, Ohio, at the Cinch World’s Toughest, Wilson went 87 to be second before he went to Des Moines where he also placed second at another Cinch World’s Toughest.
With the regular season getting underway, Wilson has one goal and that is to make the National Finals Rodeo. So far, he has had everything go his way. We can look for Wilson at Denver and Houston over the next few weeks.
