Stevi Hillman will be making her sixth trip to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in about two weeks. She is sitting No. 11 going in with $71,178.

Hillman is known to be consistent at the NFR and she was consistent during the 2021 regular season as well. Between her horses Truck and Lemon Drop, Hillman laid down runs every where she went.

Hillman thrives at The American and this year was no different. She won the first round with a 15.807 and ended up second in the average on Truck. She went on to place at multiple big rodeos through out the summer.

At Reno Rodeo, Hillman was a 17.11 to be third in the second round. In Casper, Wyoming in the first go, Hillman was a 16.690 to win the round and end up third in the average. In Dodge City, Kansas she won the first round with a 16.920 and she also won the second round with a 17.080 second run.

A string of second place finishes added to Hillman’s earnings as well. It started with a 16.990 in Bremerton, Washington, then a 17.110 second run in Filer, Idaho and she wrapped it up with a 17.140 in Plains, Montana.

Hillman has a trailer load of top-notch horses making the trip with her but a new one that we will see is Makana, who is owned by Emma Charleston. The six-year-old mare is by Slick By Design, a stud that Hillman has ran down the alley at the Thomas and Mack multiple times. Hillman and Makana should be a great fit.
