Sage Kimzey Goes 2 for 2 in Salinas

After a disappointing end to last season and battle with ankle injuries, the 6X World Champion is back at No. 1 and showing no signs of giving up his seat.

It seems as if Sage Kimzey can’t stop winning.

Just with the last couple of weeks, he’s won the the Ellensburg XTreme Bulls, Kennewick, and went 91.5 on War Cry at the Pendleton Xtreme Bulls Finale.

Now he’s the only guy to have ridden both of his bulls in Salinas, notching top scores in both rounds and leading the average with a total of 174.5 points on two.

On Friday night in a rematch with Corey & Lange’s Sleepy Joe, Sage went 87 points to take the round. “I actually had him in Hermiston, and he threw me off pretty quick, so tonight was a little bit of redemption for sure.”

See if he Sage can make it a hat trick this afternoon! He’s up again in Round 3 of the bull riding, and Rodeo Salinas kicks off at 3PM ET.
