Following a win in Puyallup, Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp will both likely be ranked inside the Top 10 and will return to Vegas as team roping partners after splitting up in 2020.
The pair was 9.3 seconds on two at the Washington State Fair Pro Rodeo to earn $7,805. Thorp entered the weekend No. 5 in the world on the head side and Snow was No. 11 on the heel side.
“It’s a good way to end the year.....It’s good to finish it off strong and go into the Finals with some momentum hopefully,” Thorp said.
Snow and Thorp pair roped at three consecutive NFRs from 2017-2019 but last year, Snow roped with Junior Nogueira while Thorp partnered with Chad Masters.
Puyallup was the pair’s fourth win in 2021.
