World No. 1 Sage Kimzey wins the Long Round in Puyallup

On the last night of Long Round competition Saturday night, the No. 1 bull rider in the world outscored the mark previously set by the No. 2 bull rider in the world.

Aboard Korkow’s Standard Tuesday, Sage Kimzey rode for 88 points to best Stetson Wright’s 86.5 from Thursday night.

Kimzey said the Korkow bull made him work the entire time, but he had a really good feel of what minor adjustments to make throughout the eight seconds.

“I was excited to have him, knew there was a good chance to be a bunch of points on him, so glad it all worked,” he said.
