Through two days, Layton Green and Isaac Diaz are tied at the top in Kennewick, Washington, both riding for 85.5 points in the first performance.
Green got it done on Calgary’s Umber Bubbles, a horse he’s had success on before.
“Awesome horse, was super excited to have him. Just got on him in Pollockville (Alberta).......Went really good there,” Green said. “He gives you a good chance to win every time you have him.”
Green is currently No. 11 in the PRCA Saddle Bronc Riding World Standings, but only leads 15th place Teagan Smith by about $5,000.
Diaz, who rode Calgary’s Uvid Bubbles on Tuesday, has some work to do to get back to Vegas. The seven-time NFR qualifier is 25th in the world right now.
