Canadian bareback rider Orin Larsen broke a tie between Jess Pope and Caleb Bennett with 86.5 points on Burch Rodeo’s Tequila Time Wednesday night at the Caldwell Night Rodeo.
“It’s such a great horse, it’s been around a little awhile, I’ve seen a lot of people have a lot of good luck on her, so I just wanted to get a fair shot,” he said.
Larsen, who has made the last six NFRs, sits in 12th place in the PRCA World Standings currently. He is about $8,000 ahead of 15th-place Wyatt Denny.
