The team roping was fast in the first perf in Weatherford and the top pair was Colby Lovell and Paul Eaves with a time of 4.1 seconds.
“It all happened pretty fast, the steer stepped right just a little a bit and shaped up great. Colby handled him good and my deal was pretty easy really,” Eaves said.
Overall, there have already been six times 4.9 seconds or faster at the rodeo.
