It was a great weekend for the 73rd annual Redding Rodeo. Katie Pascoe won the Barrel Racing title with a time of 17.18 seconds, not only was it her first win in Redding but her first time cashing a check.
Pascoe said of the win, “I have been to Redding a few times and I don’t think I have ever won anything, so this was exciting.”
Pascoe was the very first barrel racer of the rodeo and got to run on her birthday.
Katie jumped up to 40th in the WPRA standings after the big win in Redding.
