Ben Andersen Looking to Make First Career NFR

Ben Andersen is coming off a great weekend in Oklahoma where he won the first annual Osage Xtreme Bronc days thanks to an 88.5 point ride.

Andersen now sits in tenth place in the World Standings and is looking to make a run at his first career NFR.

“I got my PRCA card in 2019 and kept like rolling through it. This year I have drawn so well and got rolling that way. In past years I have not drawn awesome throughout it. I feel good and I feel like I am riding good.”

As serious as the competition is from rodeo to rodeo, you will always catch Andersen with a smile on his face win or lose.

“We are just riding bucking horses. It is a dream I started when I was 14 riding steers, and now I am doing it. Nothing to be negative about it is pretty freaking awesome.”

Next on the schedule for Ben is Red Bluffs and then San Angelo where the Cowboys and Cowgirls will compete for their share of over $260,000.
