High Desert Stampede: Recap and payouts

The High Desert Stampede wrapped up in Redmond, Oregon Saturday with several of rodeo’s biggest names at the top of their respective leaderboards.

The bareback riding was won by three-time World Champion Tim O’Connell and the reigning World Champion Shad Mayfield took the win in the tie-down roping. In the bull riding, it was the No. 3 man in the world Josh Frost continuing his impressive season by adding more than $4,000 to his total with a victory. Right behind him was world No. 2 and six-time World Champion Sage Kimzey.
