Stetson Wright Cleans Up in Montgomery

What a weekend for Stetson Wright!

With an 85.5-point ride on Frontier Rodeo Company’s Lett’er Rip, the reigning All-Around World Champion Cowboy split second and third in the bronc riding (with Chase Brooks) at the Southeastern Livestock Exposition and Rodeo in Montgomery. He also went 90.5 points on Frontier Rodeo’s Easy Day to split the win and 2021 SLER bull riding title (with Laramie Mosley) — and earned an extra $10,000 bonus check.

Headed home with around $18,000 in total from Montgomery, Stetson is currently No. 1 in the All-Around race, second in the bronc riding (behind brother Ryder), and third in the bull riding (behind Colten Fritzlan and Sage Kimzey).

On making it to the buzzer on Easy Day, which is no easy feat, Stetson says, “I bucked off the one at The American and then last week in Arcadia, and I was kind of fed up of falling off. ... I was just super tickled pink to get it gone.”
