Clayton Sellars was the top bull rider at the Arcadia All-Championship Rodeo thanks to his 90-point ride aboard Championship Pro Rodeo’s Excessive Force.
“I knew nothing about the bull,” he said. “We came in there really late.....so I had zero time to ask about or anything or game plan so I just got on and tried my best and he did his best that day.”
Sellars said he and is traveling partners had to bust it to make it to Arcadia after they flew from Salt Lake City and arrived in Tampa at 1:15 p.m. for a 2 p.m. performance two hours away.
Sellars, who is now No. 9 in the world thanks to the Arcadia win and a stellar performance in San Antonio, says this rodeo season has started to feel more and more like normal.
“It’s been great being able to just get up and go somewhere and not have to sit at homes weeks on end,” he said.
